Wanting isn't enough. You have to know how.

A salesperson asks the question that brings out the real need. An accountant spots the gap nobody saw. An engineer makes a system easier to maintain. Behind every right move, there's craft.

Craft is tools, knowledge, and judgement sharpened by practice. It has a literature and masters, often outside your office. It doesn't improve on its own just because the years go by.

This section is about raising your level: going to the source, not stopping at the first answer, reading outside your lane. And keeping things simple, which is the hardest part.

**To start:** pick one move in your trade, find someone who does it better than you, and watch how they go about it.

**To go further:** what can you do today that you couldn't two years ago? If the list is short, that's your next project.

**If you're growing a team:** if learning only happens in the evenings, you're filtering for spare time. The ⇄ cards cover this.

**A sign it's working:** you catch mistakes earlier, and you explain your choices better.

**Next:** autonomy, to put that craft to work on a whole problem.
