The symptom
You share a conclusion: “this method works”. The reader sees your position, but can do nothing with it.
The signal
Share what can be reused: the case, the template, the numbers, the method. An opinion gets debated; an artifact gets picked up.
What’s going on
“Our interviews are better since we started using a framework” is an opinion. The framework, with an annotated interview and what it changed in your decisions, is an artifact. The first gets read and forgotten. The second gets copied, adapted and improved.
An artifact holds what it takes to be reused: the context, the example, the assumptions, and the numbers with their method. “Time to hire down from 45 to 30 days across 12 roles” is worth more than “faster”.
Say what you do not know. A constructed example is presented as one, a borrowed source is cited, private data is explained without being published.
When you cannot publish the data, publish the method. It is often enough for someone else to get their own numbers.
Check this
Take the last thing you shared. Ask someone what they could redo with it.
Add what is missing: an example, a template, a number with its method. Remove what is only opinion.
