Every trade leaves its own trace

The reflex

You would like to share what you know, but the examples of sharing you see are code libraries and technical articles. They do not look like your trade.

The builder’s reflex

Publish the trace that fits your trade: a sheet, a calculation, a case, a flow.

Why

Every trade has its traces. In finance, a worked calculation with its assumptions. In support, an annotated case. In sales, a call script that worked. In design, a flow with its reasons. In operations, a checklist. None contains code, all of them help someone else.

Someone in operations writes a sheet for welcoming a new supplier: the information to check, the case that causes trouble, who to alert. A colleague tries it and flags something unclear. Once fixed, it serves the whole team, then other teams with the same need.

An adaptation to your context, a translation, a simpler example help someone the original did not. Credit what comes from elsewhere.

Publishing these traces has always been possible. Today it is fast: a page, a shared document, a post on a professional network. An AI helps with the shaping; the content is yours.

Try this

Pick a question you get asked often. Write the trace that answers it, in your trade’s form, with an example and its limits.

Have someone try it, fix it, then publish it where people with the same question will find it.

To discuss

Which trace from our trade would help other teams?

Your notes

Only you read them.
