The symptom
You share a conclusion or a method. The reader sees your position, but may be missing what they need to examine it or adapt it to their own situation.
The signal
Add what makes the reasoning followable: context, facts, an example, assumptions, limits, and how to check what can be checked.
What’s going on
An opinion can open a question or offer a useful reading. A practical resource can help someone act. Those forms are not a hierarchy between the people who produce them. For the recipient, the question is what the content lets them understand, examine, or do.
A team shares an interview framework. The criteria and the questions may not be enough to explain how to use it. An annotated case, the limits of the framework, and the distinction between observation and interpretation can help another recruiter examine it. The same holds for a decision note or an internal procedure.
A measure can inform the reasoning when its scope, its method and its limits are legible. A number on its own is not sufficient evidence. A qualitative example, a timeline, or a reasoned comparison can serve too. Do not add artificial quantity to make an account look more solid.
Not everything can be checked directly by every reader. Some data stays private or needs particular access. Explain then what kind of material you have and what you cannot share, without presenting more certainty than it supports. A constructed example has to be named as one, and a borrowed source has to be attributed.
Check this
Choose something you want to make useful, even if it is not meant to be public. Ask someone concerned what they could do with it and what information they are missing to judge whether it fits.
Add one shareable element that fills that gap: an example, a criterion, a limit, or an explanation of method. If nothing yet supports a claim, present it as an assumption or drop it.
After the review, check whether the person can now tell the facts from your conclusion. The form, or the number of publications, does not measure that effect.

- Engineering: give the context needed to examine a technical example.
- Design: explain what was observed and what is still an interpretation.
- Finance: give the scope and the assumptions behind a shareable figure.
- Recruiting: look at the reasoning and its limits, not only at the form of the material.
